Melio Speaking Challenge #6

In 2018, fifteen year old Greta Thunberg chose to protest global inaction on the climate emergency and has been on a crusade ever since. All it took was one voice to start a global movement. The 5th of June is  World Environment day and we, at Melio, are calling all 9 -15 year olds to let their voices be heard.

Topics for the challenge are:

  • Deforestation

  • Global warming

  • Air pollution

  • Plastic pollution

  • Food wastage

  • Illegal Wildlife trade

  • Water pollution

  1. Venue Address: Online Competition via Zoom. 
  2. Age Group: Under 12  (9-11 years as of 7th June) and Under 16 (12-15 year olds as of 7th June)
  3. Event Date: 5-7 June 2020.

     
  4. Timings: Qualifier round is 3-9 pm on 5 June. Finale is 11 am-12 pm on 7 June 2020
  5. Event Fee: 299
