School Heritage Fest. Please find the details of the events and guidelines below.
SAMSKRUTI 2025 – ART & LITERARY EVENTS
Venue: Lady Sivaswamy Ayyar Girls Higher Secondary School, Mylapore
Date: Sunday, 27th July 2025
Dress Code – School Uniform
TOPIC – WOMEN WARRIORS OF BHAARAT
Drawing – Classes 1 & 2
Event Time: 9:00 am to 10:00 am;
Reporting time- 8:30am
Max. 5 entries per school
Drawing sheets will be provided.
Only color pencils and crayons may be used.
No tracing, sticking, or craftwork allowed.
Please adhere to the given topic.
Design a Doodle – Classes 3 to 5
Event Time: 10:30 am to 11:30 am; Reporting time – 10:00am
Max. 5 entries per school
Drawing sheets will be provided.
No tracing or craftwork allowed.
Please adhere to the given topic.
Design a Bookmark – Classes 6 to 8
Event Time: 12:00 noon to 1:00pm; Reporting time – 11:30am
Max. 5 entries per school.
Bookmarks will be provided.
All other needed supplies are to be brought by the children.
Please adhere to the given topic.
Design a Tote Bag – Classes 9 to 12
Event Time: 1:30 pm to 2:30pm; Reporting time – 1:00pm
Max. 5 entries per school
Plain white or beige tote bags and other needed supplies are to be brought by the children.
Please adhere to the given topic.
Poetry – Classes 6 to 12
Time: 9:30 am; Reporting Time – 9:00am
Students must recite their original poetry on the topic Women Warriors of Bhaarat
Poetry can be in English or Tamil
Max. 2 students per school per category (English or Tamil)
Time Limit – Not to exceed 5 minutes.
NOTE
1.Quarter size chart paper will be provided for the drawing and doodle events.
2.Kindly bring all the necessary coloring materials.
3. Please take additional care to avoid spilling colors on the school premises.
4. E-certificates will be provided for all the participating students.
LAST DATE FOR REGISTRATION: 22nd JULY 2025

PURANAVA 2025 – QUIZ (Classes 6 to 12)
Date: Saturday, 9th August 2025
Venue: Narada Gana Sabha, Chennai
Time: 9am
– 3 members in a team
Maximum of 5 teams per school
Reporting time is 8:00 am
Students are requested to be present in school uniform.
– Questions will be based on Indian Heritage, Art, Culture, Tradition and Sanathana Dharma
A written prelims will be conducted, from which 6 teams will be selected for the on-stage finals.
E-Certificates will be provided for all participants.
