Sri Rama Bhaktha Jana Samaj welcomes young Vocal, Instrumental artists to participate in “Stage for young musicians” in order to showcase their talent.
All performers of SYM must be students of Carnatic Music.
Film Music is not permissible.
To perform in this SYM the performer should be
in the age group of 10 to 20 years.
Those giving public performance are not eligible to take part in this event.
Audition test will be conducted online. To participate in the event you should register by Email to ramabakthi@gmail.com before 1st October, 2013. No other registration mode is available. Acknowledgement of registration will be sent by email. You may send your audio clipping (rendition of any Varnam or Krithi for Vocal and Violin /for Mridangam any Thala ) not exceeding five minutes. Songs are not restricted to any particular composer or language. Due to time constraints, registrations can be accepted only from a limited number of participants on first come first serve basis. So, kindly register at the earliest. While registering please provide the following information.

The selected persons will be intimated through email to submit their application form.
Accompanists (Violin or Mridangam) may apply either through the Vocalists or in their individual capacity. Please note that there will be no solo performances. Other instruments like veena ,flute,keyboard etc, will have opportunities to participate in the competition in the coming years.
Final contest will be held on Sunday the 22nd December,2013. A selected applicant may perform maximum of 2 Carnatic songs within 10 minutes duration.
The three best performers ( Vocal, Violin and Mridangam) selected will receive a Cash award of Rs.2000 each on the conclusion of the event.
The winners of this year’s SYM event will have the opportunity to perform in our December 2014 Music Festival.
