It makes great happiness and pleasure for me to invite you to the The π -Thons, Maths Expo to be held at Vagisha Vidhyalaya School, Chennai
on 25th November, 2023 from 9.00 am onwards.
This exhibition’s objective is to provide an opportunity for students to surface and foster mathematical gifts in them. Moreover it could awaken an interest in our students when considering their future career. Please share the details with your students and encourage the maximum participation in this exhibition and help us to find the next Mathematician. Agenda
8.45 am – Registration
9 am to 9:30 am – Setting up of models/exhibits
10 am to 12 noon – Visiting of the expo by the judges
12:30 pm to 1 pm – Declaration of the results and prize distribution
General Instructions to the Participants
1. No spot registration is allowed.
2. Participants should reach the school by 8:45 am.
3. Participants must come in school uniform. School ID card is mandatory.
4. Participants must not exceed their presentation more than 3 minutes.
5. Participants must be present at place till the judging is completed. Judges may request a
demonstration of any working parts or verbal explanation of a part or the whole of the
exhibit.
6. All participants will receive medals and certificates. Each category will have a winner
and runner up.
7. The judge’s decision stays final.
8. We request the participants to follow the timings strictly.
