PCRA Saksham National Competitions 2019 – PCRA Quiz Competition

Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India conducts PCRA Saksham Quiz Competition 2019 for school students. Only schools in India recognized by Central & State Boards of India, can participate in this quiz competition. Individual students can also participate in Quiz Competition.

Participation through schools Eligibility : Students of classes 7, 8, 9 & 10.

Individual Students Eligibility : Students of age 13-17 years (students born on or after 01.04.2002 and on or before 31.03.2007) .

Quiz Questions shall pertain to Agriculture, Conservation, Environment, Energy & Fuel, Transport, General Studies and other categories.

School Participation:

  • The schools shall register the names of all Students against the school ID on the portalwww.pcracompetitions.org . All the students can then participate as Individuals in First Round.
  • Software will select the two best scoring participants, who will form the School team

Individual Participation:

  • Competition Period: 1.07.19 – 15.01.20
  • First Level Quiz will have 10 questions with a time limit of 10 minutes.

    If the child answers 6 or more correctly, an online certificate of proficiency (Bronze Level) is issued to his/her registered email ID, and can be downloaded from the portal itself. The second window shall open on qualifying the first level.

  • Second Level Quiz will have 15 questions with a time limit of 10 minutes.

    If the child answers 10 or more correctly, an online certificate of proficiency (Silver Level) is issued to his/her registered email ID, and can be downloaded from the portal itself. He/she becomes eligible for Final level.

  • Final Level Quiz will have 30 questions with a time limit of 15 minutes.

    If the child answers 25 or more correctly, an online certificate of proficiency (Gold Level) is issued to his/her registered email ID and can be downloaded from the portal itself.
