HERITAGE FEST – Art & QUIZ CONTESTS

Global Organisation for Divinity is back with the annual Inter School Heritage Fest for the 8th consecutive year. Each year, we are overwhelmed by the hundreds of students that enthusiastically participate, and it only reminds us of our responsibility to come back ever year with lovely topics that would instill pride in our hearts over our country’s rich heritage. 
SAMSKRUTI – ART AND ELOCUTION

Global Organisation for Divinity presents a wonderful opportunity for children to explore the greatness of Vidura Neethi and present it in an art form!
 
PURANAVA – INDIAN HERITAGE QUIZ
 
Date: 4th August 2018
Venue – Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavan
 
– 3 members in a team
– Maximum of 5 teams per school
– Students are requested to assemble at 9 am
– Questions will be based on Indian Heritage, Art, Culture, Tradition and Sanathana Dharma 
– A written prelims will be conducted, from which 6 teams will be selected for the on-stage finals.
 

SAMSKRUTI GUIDELINES
All participants are requested to report 30 minutes before the event
Prizes will be given off on the same day a little after the event.
All participants are required to be present in their school uniforms

DRAWING: 9AM-10AM
Drawing Sheets will be provided
Participants can use any coloring material
Collage/sticking paper or decorative material is not allowed
Tracing or seeing a sample picture and drawing is not allowed

POSTER PAINTING: 10:30AM-11:30AM
Work Sheets will be provided
Participants can use any coloring material
Collage/sticking paper or decorative material is not allowed
Tracing or seeing a sample picture and drawing is not allowed

CARTOONING: 12 NOON – 1 PM
Drawing Sheets will be provided
Participants can use any coloring material
Collage/sticking paper or decorative material is not allowed
Tracing or seeing a sample picture and drawing is not allowed
Art that is not in the form of a cartoon will not be evaluated

T SHIRT PAINTING: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Participants are requested to bring plain white T shirts to paint on
Participants can use any coloring material
Collage/sticking paper or decorative material is not allowed
Tracing or seeing a sample picture and drawing is not allowed

ELOCUTION: 11 AM ONWARDS
Speaking time will be 5 min
Maximum of 5 participants per school
Language of speech: English
There might be a final round after selection round depending on the number of participants.
