Vedanta Academy (CBSE), Vanagaram celebrated it’s much awaited First Annual Sports Day on Thursday, 29th March, 2018. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the oath being administered by the Chief Guest of the day, Thiru. Vetri Maran, Film Director, Writer & Producer.
The Special Guest Ms. Aarthy Kasturiraj , Asian Medalist, Roller skating took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students.
The audience next witnessed various displays symbolizing alternative sources of energy. A peppy dance drill and an energizing exercise drill set the tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.
The day ended by congratulating the winners with medals and certificates. Shri K Ramadoss, Chairman of SKR Engineering College, Director of Vedanta Academy, Mr. Sundeep Vasu and the Principal Mrs. Lakshmi Venkat applauded the visionary element of the school which nurture and develops their potential in the sports field. The vote of thanks was presented by the Physical Education Department.
