Small Hand Big Art (SHBA), an initiative that promotes children’s art in India, has collaborated with Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) US, which is among the worlds most renowned colleges of art and design and Sir JJ Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai (JJIAA), one of India’s leading fine art institution, for it’s 5th run of the Annual Art Olympiad.The Annual Art Olympiad 2017-18, is supported by Mojarto, an NDTV Venture.
Through these collaboration, we aim to focus the attention of Schools, Parents and Society, to encourage children to look at Art as ‘a way of life’ and a provide them an opportunity to explore it as a possible lifetime career.

The Annual Art Olympiad 2017-18 is now open and invites all schools across India, to participate. Every participating child will be appreciated through a ‘participation certificate’ which will be jointly issued by SHBA and its collaborators. The winners will be provided with a monetary award, a Merit certificate- jointly signed by RISD and SHBA, opportunity to display their work at one of the premium art galleries in India and will be invited for a unique Winners Mentorship Program.

The Winners Mentorship Program, which is one of its kind in the world, provides an opportunity to the winners, to be mentored and guided by some of the finest Academic Faculty Members, Senior Artists and other prominent achievers in the field of Art.
SHBA is privileged to have an international panel of judges, who will select the most creative and original works of Art.

    I do not understand which states children can participate in this competition and how can we send our artwork to judges and where we send artwork please help me, please reply please…………..

      U can participate thru your school only. This is an all India art competition. Pls contact your school for participating

    I did not understand that this competition are just for Chennai chindren or from all over India , and how we can send our art work to the judges ,I am confused …..
