Sri Sabari Vidya Mandir, Chennai and Asian Games Federation of India on the occasion of the World Earth Day will jointly conduct a 2-day City level Roller Skating competition for school students.
Time : 9 a.m to 5 p.m
Date : Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23
Venue: Chennai Corporation Skating Rink, Pulla Avenue, Shenoy Nagar.
Contestants will be divided into the age categories:
4 to 6 years, 6 to 8 years, 8 to 10 years, 10 to 12 years, 12 to 14 years and 14 to 16 years.
Race Events : 100, 200, 300 and 500 meters, and 1 km.
Participation fee : Rs.800 per student.
The top three winners in each age category will be awarded cash awards of Rs.2,000, Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 1,000.
All the participants will be given participation certificates.
