The Hindu Young World Competition 2014 Finals at Chennai SBOA School & Junior College, Anna Nagar West.
400 children from two categories Juniors (Std IV – VI) and Seniors (Std VII – X) participated in the painting competition. Various topics were given on the spot for children to express their ideas like Fruit or Vegetable market, Sports Day, A Fishing Trip, Shopping with Family, Bird Watching for the Juniors, while the Seniors painted on the topics like Heritage Walk, A visit to the village, Potters Village, Puppet Show etc.
K. R. Roshni, 6th Std student of SBOA School & Jr. College stood first in the Junior Category, while M. Karthick, a 9th Std student of Dr. Vimala Convent Matriculation School, K K Nagar came first in the Senior Category. MIOT International was the presenting sponsor.
