Amarajeevi Potti Sreeramulu Memorial Society will be conducting a music competition on the works of Saint Tyagaraja, Sri Annamacharya, and Bhakta Ramadas.
The competitions will be held on August 5 at Potti Sreeramulu Memorial Building, 215, Royapettah High Road, Luz, Mylapore.
Participants will be categorized into :
Sub-juniors (Class I to V)
Juniors (Class VI to VIII)
Seniors (Class IX to X)
Super Seniors (Class XI to XII).
Each team should have a minimum of five to a maximum of seven participants.
Time allotted is 10 minutes for each team.Besides, the society will also conduct a series of competition in Telugu such as poetry, essay writing, quiz, painting, and drama on August 11 and 12.
A painting competition will be also be conducted on August 11. Children will be categorized into three levels:
Class I to V have to paint on the theme: Domestic Animals;
Class VI to VIII have to paint on the theme: Various Dance Postures
Class IX to X have to paint on the theme: Heritage Buildings in Chennai.
The last date for registration is July 31.
