World Read Aloud Day (WRAD) is focused on bringing awareness to the importance of reading aloud and sharing stories. WRAD was created in 2010 by LitWorld, a nonprofit believing in the power of reading. Studies reflect that people who read frequently are more equipped to understand others, have empathy, and see the world from different perspectives. Reading aloud helps develop literacy skills, builds community, and connects us to each other.
In celebration of World Read Aloud Day this year, Skill Tree has initiated ‘Read-A-Thon’-Online Reading Challenge, to instill the love for reading among children. Take a 2 min video of your child reading aloud their favourite book and upload it.
Eligibility:
Group A: Age 4 & 5
Group B: Age 6 & 7
Group C: Age 8 & 9
Fee: Rs.150 ( non-refundable and non-transferable to other events)
Last date to register: Feb 3rd before 6pm
E-certificates to all participants.
Winners will get trophies.
