Kids Contests

Instructions for each event

• Handwriting – All Batches

Batch A & B: Four ruled sheets will be provided at the venue. The text will be given to the students and the participants have to copy them in the sheets

Batch C & D: Single ruled sheets will be provided at the venue. The text will be given to the students and the participants have to copy them in the sheets.

 The participants need to bring the exam pads.

•  Story Telling – Batch A

Duration for each kid (Max  3 minutes). Props can be used by the kid while narrating the story.

• One Minute Game – Batch A

 One parent can accompany the participant as a team. Each team will be given an activity to be completed in 1 minute and the parent has to only guide or help the kid and the kid has to finish the activity.

 Word Game – Batch B

 For EG: Below type of grid would be given. (it could be a 4*4 grid also)

The participant has to make as many words as possible The letters cannot be repeated. The marks will be based on number and complexity of words written.

From the above grid, the following words can be formed, SLAM, LAN, RAN, KIT, TRAM etc

 Word Chop Game – Batch C & D

Example: (it could be a 4*4 grid also)

Each word is chopped into half and given in above grid. The participant has to find the words. 

From the above grid, the following words can be formed: permission, sibling, punctuation, nevertheless, transport, invisible

 Craft item using Ice Cream Sticks – Batch B & C

 The participant has to do a complete craft item using the ice cream sticks The participant need to bring all the necessary ingredients for making the item.

 Fireless Cooking – Batch D

 The participant has to make a food item without using any fire. The participant needs to bring all the necessary ingredients to the venue and prepare the item. The method of preparation needs to be written in a piece of paper.
