1. Handwriting
Time: 10 – 10.20 am
Paper & Text for writing will be provided
Participants have to bring writing pad & Pen / Pencil.
2. Colouring / Drawing
Time: 10.30 – 11.30 am
Topic : Back to School
Printed chart will be provided for Pre.K.G to UKG students for colouring.
Quarter size plain chart will be provided to 1st to 12th std students for drawing.
Participants have to bring Pen / Pencil / colouring materials.
3. Rhymes
Time: 11.45 – 12.30 pm
English / Tamil
Kids can sing any rhymes of their choice. (Maximum 2 min)
Props are not allowed
4. Storytelling
Time: 12.30 – 1.15 pm
English / Tamil
Kids can tell one story of their choice (Maximum 3 min)
Props are not allowed
5. Speech Contest – Sit & Talk
Time: 1.15 – 2.30 pm
Tamil / English
Topic: Back to school
Participants have to sit and speak (maximum 3 minutes).
6. Easy Science Experiment
Time: 2.30 – 3 pm
Participants have to demonstrate any easy science experiment of their own choice.
7. Do It Yourself – Pen & Pencil Pouch
Time: 3 – 3.20 pm
Participants have to make Pen & Pencil Pouch using reused materials like:
Cloth,
Zipper,
Paints,
Needle & thread or any other reused material of their choice.
8. Do It Yourself – Notebook cover
Time: 3.20 – 3.40 pm
Participants have to cover at least 3 notebooks using reused materials like:
Paper bags / Cloth cover / Magazine covers
Gum
Stapler or any other reused material of their choice.
9. Do It Yourself – Book Binding
Time: 3.40 – 4 pm
Participants have to bind 2 notebooks using reusable materials like:
Book binding glue
Cardboard for the back of the note
Needle & Thread or any other reused material of their choice.
10. Do It Yourself – Writing Pad
Time: 4 – 4.20 pm.
Participants have to make a writing pad with clip using materials like:
Old calendar pad
Cardboard
Binder clips or small clamps
Book binding glue or any other reused material of their choice.
11. Do It Yourself – Desk Organizer
Time: 4.20 – 4.40 pm
Participants have to make a desk organizer to keep stationery items with materials like:
Used food cartoons / cereal boxes
Cardboard / old wooden pieces
Tape
Coke cans or any tins
Book binding glue or any other reused material of their choice.
12. Do It Yourself – Cloth Bag
Time: 4.40 – 5 pm
Participants have to make a cloth bag with materials like:
Old Cotton clothes
Old Jeans clothes
Needle & thread or any other reused material of their choice.
Registration fee Rs.200/- for a participant per event (for all the age group).
