Let’s meet the little star from S.B.O.A School and Junior College, Anna Nagar, Chennai – Shiren S. Shiren is a 5th Std student at SBOA School.
Since L.K.G she started learning the basics of art and drawing and from the age of 5, Shiren has been participating competitions and till now she has competed in more than 150 drawing competitions at the school level, District Level and the State Level. She has won lots of prizes at these competitions ( Photographs, Certificates, medals, trophies ).
Also, Shiren has participated in the Tamil Oratory Competitions. Especially, she won 1st prize in the oratory competition which was held by Velammal School where more than 350 schools participated.
Here is what Shiren has to say about her achievements:
” I ‘m Shiren S and I’m studying in SBOA School & Junior College, I would like to share my achievement in extra-curricular activities especially in drawing competitions 2015-2016.
1. At Rangoli Fest Splash imaginary painting competition conducted in St. John’s public school I won the 1st prize.
2. National Institute of technical teachers training and research , Government of India ministry of human resource development conducted drawing competition at Dr.A.P.J. Abdual Kalam’s vision & mission of India 2020. About 85 schools participated in this competition. I won the 1st prize.
3. Nathalla Vidhyodaya Kids Carnival I won the 1st prize.
4. Enviro – 2015, which was held on IIT Madras, I won the 2nd prize and cash amount Rs.500/-.
5. Varnajalam competition which was conducted by Suriyan FM, where 4000 children took part. In this competition I won the special prize “Table Mate” and gift voucher Rs.1000/-.
6. Velammal knowledge park conducted the Chennai flood poster competition I won the 2nd prize.
7. Vasantha memorial trust competition I won the 2nd prize.
8. The mylapore academy children’s day celebration competition I won the 2nd prize.
9. Dessin Academy conducted competition I won the 1st prize and cash amount Rs.500/-.
10. Ask Academy I won the 1st prize.
11. At Forum and Funcity present Kids Festival at Vijaya Mall I won the 1st prize and gift voucher Rs.2500/-.
12.Oviya’s conducted the drawing competition I won the 1st prize.
