This is a preliminary round and the finalists selected from this round will compete with other city finalists at Karur in May 2014.

Group 1 : Juniors – Students less than 11 years of age
Group 2 : Seniors – Students above 11 years and less than 16 years of age
Portions : The complete Vishnu Sahasranama Stotram ( 108 slokas from Visvam to Vanamali)
