Many competitions will be conducted in association with the Seventh Madurai Book Festival, to be held from August 30 to September 9. The Book fair is organized by Booksellers and Publishers’ Association of South India.
Elocution competitions will be conducted for college students on September 1 and the same for school students will be conducted on September 6. The three winners will be awarded Book coupons worth Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000. respectively. The prizes will be coupons worth Rs. 7,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 for college students.
Two students per school or college can participate in the competitions.
