Republica is a talent contest conducted every year for young kids. It is organized jointly by Banda the Activity Hub, an activity centre for children, The Triple E Foundation, a Trust created for children and Dessin Academy, a leading arts school.
This year, the events are organized in two venues on two days.
At Banda the Activity Hub, Sembakkam, Chennai 600 073
At Banda the Montessori Learning Centre, Sithalapakkam, Chennai 600126.
Participants can take part in one venue only.
There can be no multiple entries.
The events are classified age wise.
The details of the events are as follows
Category 1 (Age 3 to 4 1/2)
Coloring – We will provide the drawing and the participants have to colour using crayons/color pencil.
Fancy Dress – the kids can get dressed at the venue. Priority is on how they relate to the character
Rhymes Recital – Only English rhymes.
Category 2 (Age 4 to 6)
Drawing and coloring – Theme – SEASONS. We will provide the sheets for drawing. All other materials to be brought by participants
Story telling – only in English
Category 3 (Age 6 to 9 )
Drawing and Coloring – Theme – Wild life – We will provide the sheets for drawing. All other materials to be brought by participants
Thirukural recital – one kural to be recited and the meaning to be explained.
Pencil sketching – paper will be provided by us.
Prizes will be distributed on 8th May 2022.
