Justice Mohan Children’s University [JMCU] is organising the event “Salute to Dr. APJ Kalam” in order to remember & tribute Bharath Rathna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on his 84th Birthday. On this day, we are planning to get involve the students of various schools by conducting various competitions for children, such as Drawing, Debate, Essay Writing and Fancy Dress. All the above competitions are under the theme of “PATRIOTIC”.

CATEGORY (Age Group)
Kids – KG to 2nd Std.
Junior – 3rd to 5th Std.
Senior – 6th to 8th Std.
Super Senior – Above 9th Std.

CONTESTS
Oct 17th 2015 ( 10 am to 7 pm )
Drawing Competition (Kids / Junior / Senior / Super Senior)
Essay Writing (Senior / Super Senior)
Oct 18th 2015
10am to 1pm – Debate (Junior / Senior / Super Senior)
1pm to 5pm – Fancy Dress (Kids / Junior / Senior)

AWARDS
· Winners will be selected for first 3 places in each category/event and will be honored with Trophy, Medal and Certificate.
· Next 5 places will be honored with Medal and Certificate.
· Outstanding performer will be honored with Prestigious Award of “Dr. APJ DREAM AWARD”

Participation Certificates for all the participants.
DATES : 17 th & 18th of October 2015
TIMINGS : 10 am to 7 pm
VENUE : Madras Institute of Hotel Management, Kumananchavadi, Kattupakkam,
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION : OCT 18th, 5pm Onwards.
Entry Fee : Rs.100/- for Each Event

Terms and Conditions
 Topics on your own under “PATRIOTIC” Theme
 Registration fee to be paid for each event.
 Participants should bring their school ID card
 Category may or may not be change before the event
 Students can come along with their Parents / Individual or by a Team
 No food & beverages will be provided complimentary
 Dr. APJ Dream Award will be nominated to the Outstanding Performers.
 Students should bring their own apparels & accessories for their participation
 Judges decision will be final
