Tamilnadu Sports Promoters Association organised 3rd Kids Olympiad2013 at SDAT Nehru Park, Poonamallee High Road, Chennai on
November 2013.
From L.K.G. to 6th Standard nearly 750 kids from 25 schools participated in this kids olympiad. This meet was inaugurated by Arjuna Awardee Shri.Gnanasekaran, Asian Gold Medalist in Athletics. Mrs. Susan Edward, E.C Member of TNSPA presided over the function.
25m, 50m, 75m, 100m, Obstacle Race, Soft Ball Throw, Shotput throw, Long jump events were conducted for the kids.
In the boys category Pon.Vidhyashram, Valasaravakkam secured 107 pts and won the overall championship.
In the girls category Velammal School, Panchetti secured 97 pts and won the overall championship.
Dr.V.Meganathan, Chairman, Shri.S.P.Somasundar, President and Shri.R.Suresh, Secretary of Tamilnadu Sports Promoters Association
made all the arrangements to conduct the events.
