Gyan Lab Kidovators Challenge First Round Results

Gyan Lab Kidovators Challenge is a unique National-level challenge for school kids of classes 3 – 8 aimed at testing their mettle and preparedness for real life in a fun-ducative (learn while you have fun) manner.

The challenge is being held across 106 cities in India involving students from 11,000+ schools. The challenge will be held in two round.

Gyan Lab Kidovators Challenge is organized to empower our kids and promote fun-ducation in their lives. Our kids are extremely creative, imaginative, intuitive and innovative in their nature. Gyan Lab Kidovators Challenge is a platform where they can show these skills and hone them.

Subjects: Communication Skills Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Mental Ability & Scientific Aptitude

Stage-1:12th January, 2014 (East & South India) and 19th January, 2014 (North & West India)
stage-2 April 2014 (Tentative)

Round 1:
Multiple Choice Questions based Quiz
To be conducted simultaneously across 60 cities and towns simultaneously for students of Grades 3 – 8.There will be separate question paper for each class.It comprises an independent comprehensive Multiple Choice Questions based Quiz testing knowledge application ability of the kids.
Test Medium: English
Marking Scheme: +3 for every correct answer. (No negative marking)
Allocated Time: 60 minutes
Total Number of Question: 50
Pattern of the Quiz:

  • 10 questions in Communication Skills Ability
  • 15 questions in Quantitative Aptitude
  • 15 in General Knowledge & Current Affairs
  • 10 in Mental Ability & Scientific Aptitude

Round 2:
To be conducted in the Regional Hub where Top 25 Students of each Grade from Round I would be invited to participate. This round will be The Tech Race where kids will have to solve problems using the most hands-on technologies available in their vicinity using limited resources, credits and time that would be given to them. The most optimized solution in every grade would be adjudged the winner.
